1969 Volks Bug with sun roof (1600cc engine). I have invested about $4300 not including the artwork. Artwork worth about $4500 based on my previous wholesale sales of paintings. Reason for selling: bought to paint and sell.

4,300 miles on new carburetor, clutch and distributor
New front brakes and cylinders (back brakes ok), headliner, battery & tune-up in fall 2002. Valves adjusted 11/3/03.
Newer Pioneer AM, FM Radio with cassette, custom wheels, tires, carpet and dynamat sound dampening, seat covers, speakers and tow bar.
Over 83 critters and 11 people depicted with artist's acrylics then sprayed with Dupli-Color Truck, Van & SUV Acrylic Lacquer Clear Coat.
As an artist I have approx. 30 years experience in impressionistic pointillistic painting with acrylics.
Sold as is... my professional mechanic has checked it out ($30/hr.) You are welcome to take it to your mechanic.

Runs good , looks good and makes positive statement! Only thing my mechanic found not working was hood lock.
